I am an IBMer and a Watsonite passionate about leveraging the latest in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval technology to build cognitive solutions (a lot of fancy words).

After earning my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC), I started my career working on designing VLSI ASIC and server chips. My focus was on Physical Design methodology starting initially with power grid analysis, power noise mitigation, and focusing more on high performance clock distribution in later phases.

In 2014, I joined the Watson team as a solution architect working with partners to tackle high impact challenges leveraging the Watson Developer Cloud services. It is extremely exciting to be a member of the team driving innovation into the new era of computing, the Cognitive Era, to solve some of the world’s toughest challenges.
